On January 30, 2024, under the chairmanship of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor L.V. Zhuravlova, a meeting of the Specialized Academic Council was held to defend the dissertation research of graduate student Irina Ivanivna Tverezovska from the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 at Kharkiv National Medical University. The dissertation topic was “The Role of Selenium Protein P in Optimizing Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prognosis of Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in the Context of Hypertensive Disease.” Her scientific supervisor is Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Natalia Merabivna Zheleznyakova.

Following an open discussion, the conclusion was reached to award Irina Ivanivna Tverezovska the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine, specializing in “Internal Diseases” (222).
