Members of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 and Endocrinology took part in the event “Night of Science”
On September 21, members of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 and Endocrinology traditionally took part in the regional educational project “Night of Science”. PhD student Pylov Daniel and assistant Pyvovarov Alexander held a master class on the rules for using the glucometer. In addition, everyone could check the blood glucose level using test strips, and a body mass index was calculated. During the evening, each visitor could work out medical manipulations on phantoms, take part in contests and quizzes listen to informative lectures and get acquainted with the rules for emergency care. Assistant of the department Oliinyk Maria took part in the organization of the exhibition “Medicine of the countries of the world”, the alternative medicine of Egypt, Morocco, Ghana and India was presented in the framework of which. Laboratory assistants of the department Markevych Mykyta and Stoianova Yuliia participated in the organization of the children’s program “I will be a doctor”, where each child could try himself in the role of a cardiologist, endocrinologist, surgeon, dentist and others. The collective of the department is grateful for the opportunity to participate in this large-scale event!
From September 18 to September 20, 2019, the traditional International Scientific Interdisciplinary Conference (ISIC) 2019 was held at Kharkiv National Medical University.
In total, more than 200 students and young scientists – representatives of Ukraine and other countries – participated in the conference.
On the first day there was the opening ceremony, at which the Vice-rector for Research Valeriy Myasoyedov congratulated the participants of the conference.

- Surgery
- Preventive Medicine
- Infectious diseases
- Neurosciences
- Biomedical Sciences

Poster section was held on September 19, Closing and Awarding Ceremony – on September 20.
Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 and Endocrinology was represented by:
- senior laboratory assistants Markevych Mykyta and Stoyanova Yulia (1st place in the section “Internal Medicine” with an oral report);
- students Magapu Veera Venkata Akhil, Desaboyina Iokesh (3rd place in poster section).

On September 6-8, 2019 in Warsaw, Poland, the 8th Annual Meeting of the Lupus Academy was held.
Members of the department as.prof. Oliinyk M.O. and as.prof. Sikalo Yu.K. took part in this event, attended scientific meetings and workshop sections.
