The final competition of student research tool place in KhNMU on March 12, 2019. It was held in the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between SYNEVO and KNMU.
Medianik Elizaveta, a 6th year student of the II-nd Faculty of Medicine, represented the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 and Endocrinology with a scientific work the topic: “Determining the effect of type 2 diabetes mellitus on bone tissue metabolism and development of osteoarthritis”, which was performed at the department, Ph.D. Oliinyk Maria was the head of the scientific work.
Medyanik Elizaveta won the first place in the nomination “Endocrinology” according to the results of the competition.

Technology is an integrant part of our lives and its presence is becoming ever more embedded in the context of Medical Education. Whether using technology to enhance the experience of traditional learning methods. The advent of computer-based assessment and inclusion of high-tech simulators have greatly improved the administration of tests by its realism and easiness of use, providing means of immediate and detailed feedback that were unthinkable before.
The European Board of Medical Assessors (EBMA) promotes best assessment practice for medical education in Europe and enables medical schools and other institutions, active in medical education and training, to develop and implement the strategic use of assessment for learning. EBMA is a full service assessment community consisting of like-minded professionals concerned with improving the quality of care off erred to the public.
During conference a lot of workshops, discussions, lectures were provided devoted the assessment in medical education. The following workshops were provided: Use of mobile technology in the Classroom, Assessment using simulated patients, Programmatic Assessment, Assessment in the Emergency Department, Progress testing. Symposia and Debate: “Pros and cons of Technology” was provided at the end of the Conference. The poster session also took place during the conference. Lopina Nataliia, MD, PhD, assistant professor of the internal medicine department № 3 and endocrinology presented a poster presentation “Clinical department web-site resources of network testing and knowledge control for continuous medical education“.

On October 4-6, 2018 a conference on medical education held by the Association of Medical Schools in Europe: Best Practice for Research Teaching in Medical Education Congress 2018 in Pécs, Hungary.
During the conference, teachers of European medical schools presented reports on modern strategies in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, the results of the introduction of simulation technologies in education.
Assistant of the Department of Internal Medicine № 3, MD, Lopina N.A. presented a report on the topic “Components of Case Based Education in Studying Internal Medicine Based on Modern Educational Web-Technologies”. The report was supported by the audience and was highly appreciated by foreign colleagues.
During the conference, all participants could familiarize with the capabilities of the simulation center for medical education at the Medical University of Pécs.
